Hardcover with DJ, Stated Second Impression 1951 Routledge and Kegan Paul 607 pages. Near Fine, in a Good+ DJ. Just a hint of shelf/edge wear to maroon cloth boards with gilt spine titles - one tiny bumped corner. Moderate shelf/edge wear, several closed tears and toning to original unclipped gray DJ with red titles- now in mylar. Spine of DJ is tanned along with the outer edges of both panels. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean and unmarked. Bottom of inside front cover has the bookstore stamp: Blackwell's Oxford, England. Rudolf Carnap 18 May 1891 ? 14 September 1970) was a German-language philosopher who was active in Europe before 1935 and in the United States thereafter. He was a major member of the Vienna Circle and an advocate of logical positivism. He is considered "one of the giants among twentieth-century philosophers."
