Minor shelf/edge wear, some rubbing and a tiny bit of chipping to original unclipped DJ - now in mylar. Warm inscription to previous owner from Jeanne Rockwell (co-author and wife of Sam Rockwell) for being an inspiration and encouragement to its being written. Author (Sam Rockwell) started out learning taxidermy, advanced to positions in which he mounted exhibits for prominent institutions like the Smithsonian and Brooklyn Museum and finally prepared many famous habitat groups for the American Museum of Natural History.
