February 14, 1989) was an American ornithologist and expert on the birds of the Caribbean. Ian Fleming, creator of 007, was an avid bird watcher and knew James Bond when they both lived in Jamaica. He chose the name (because he wanted a name that sounded "as ordinary as possible) for the protagonist of his first book, "Casino Royale", and a legend was born! Also in his novel Dr. No, Fleming referenced Bond's work by basing a large ornithological sanctuary on Dr. No's island in the Bahamas. Very Scarce, especially in this nice a condition. Truly a superb copy. Nicest one Iâ??ve seen in fifteen years. LOC
